If you’d like to give your old bike a new life, somewhere it will change lives and broaden horizons, we’d love to receive it and send it on its way. Bicycles For Humanity has chapters right across Australia and New Zealand
Please note we can only send Mountain Bikes and Sturdy hybrids in working or easily fixable conditions to developing regions. Please nothing too far gone or rusty.
If your bike is not appropriate for developing regions we may use it in other ways to benefit the project or pass it on to local bike intiatives.
Racers and Cruisers
Any retro racers or cruisers in reasonable condition can also be repurposed and benefit the project but cannot be sent to the developing world due to issues with the terrain and replaceable parts.
As much as possible we try to limit the bikes sent to adult bicycles. If you do donate a small child’s bike it will most likely be passed onto a local refugee program or similar initiative. in the interest of efficiency it is best to donate these directly to these organisations. ( list coming soon)
