Sydney To Melbourne Ride

December 5, 2008

Everyday Heroes

Noah, Harry and Lucy began riding from Sydney to Melbourne on the 10th December and are raising money for Bicycles for Humanity, Melbourne.

Support their astounding effort and spirit and help us get the first container to Africa. You can donate through Everydayhero.com at http://www.everydayhero.com.au/cyclingforhumanity

If you have an event or idea for one that you’d like to put in place to raise funds please get in touch. Everyday Hero is a great and easy way to turn any activity into a fund raiser. We’ll provide all the support we can, sing your praises and let everyone know right here.

Sweating For Humanity.

October 21, 2008

We ran and we rode. Vidi, Doug and Andy finished the Melbourne Marathon in great shape- Vidi in just under 4 hours, Andy and Doug not far behind. An astounding effort. Shane and Matt covered over 400km between them on The Around The Bay Ride.
Thank you to everyone who supported us both financially and otherwise. This alone raised almost three thousand dollars - more than enough for our very own shipping container which we’ll purchase and place on the collection site early in 2009.

Marathons and Around The Bay

October 1, 2008

In October we’ll be putting our minds and bodies to the test to raise money for our first shipment of bikes.

Andy Gild, Doug Gibson and Vidi Chandra will be running in the Melbourne Marathon and Shane Gild and Matt McCullough will be riding in the 210km Around the Bay ride.

Give them a psychological boost and cheery thoughts to get them the last few kms by donating at EverydayHero.com
