2009 Knog Bike Round Up Round Up

The Bicycles For Humanity Present the KNOG Bicycle Roundup 2009

Our first bike collection was a huge success with the conatiner now packed with over 400 bikes and hundreds of paniers and bags from Knog. Were now moving fast towards next years shipment - if you have a bike you’d like to donate please sign up to our newsletter and we’ll keep you posted on everything that’s going on.

Thank you to everyone who donated a bike, ran, swam, rode, donated and voluteered to make this project such a success and such a joy to be a part of. From being focused of the immediate practical needs of collecting and packing bikes 15 across, three layers high into a 40 foot shipping container we now can’t wait to see it implemented in Namibia and begin to tell the stories of lives changed and horizons broadened. It’ll all be posted here so visit again soon.

Andy, our vice-president , is about to leave for 2 weeks in Namibia. While there she’ll be visiting some of the  established BECs (Bicycle Empowerement Centres) that BEN has implemented.
