We packed 3 computers and some innertubes from Human Powered and sealed it up. It was loaded and off to the port and we cracked a bottle of champagne.

The container loaded onto the truck - the easy part.

While this is the end of this stage, it is really only the beginning of the story which will now unfold in 5 weeks time when the container arrives at Walvis Bay in Namibia and is then implemented as  Bicycles Empowerment Centre by BEN Namibia.

The truck makes its way out to the street - the hard part. That's Matt holding a power line out of the way.

There are many people to thank - All our sponsors, everyone who dropped their bikes off, all the astounding volunteers, all our fund raisers. The story continues from here and now gets really interesting.

We’re already gearing up for next year’s shipment - with Knog and Bicycle Super Store on board the next one will be easier and no doubt even more fun.

This container ships on the 9th of June - stay tuned for news of its arrival and implementation in Namibia.
